Global purchased the Albany terminal from ExxonMobil in 2007. Over the past five years, the terminal has undergone hundreds of third-party inspections — most unannounced. Those inspections have turned up no substantive violations.

We follow strict procedures designed to catch issues before they arise and prevent accidents before they happen. We work closely with the Albany police and fire departments, state and federal agencies, and industry experts to ensure emergency plans are in place, and employees are prepared should the need arise.
